Nice! So it's true... some 4AFE have a manifold mounted injector arrangement...

Can anyone confirm the model years this was the case and which cars? That engine was in MANY cars for MANY years...

I guess I'm down to a salvage yard trip...

In all the surfing I've been doing it seems as though some of the 4AFE's have the injectors mounted on the intake manifold.

What I want help with is to confirm the injector arrangement on the 4AFE manifold. What years, cars, models ETC... (4AFE's were widely used and intake arrangment might be ...

From the couple of previous posts I'm assuming then that you think the 4AF's distributor will fit without firewall modification?
Similar spacing as the 4AGE's distributor..???
What does the intake manifold look like on that motor? Points rear-ward like the transverse 4AGE's?

I'm exploring options ...

I'm still juggling ideas... I might even cop out and do the TBI like gasolinefumes...

Maybe the T.B from a swift like you did might be a good option... I saw you put up a drawing / diagram with all the measurments for the adaptor plate...

I'd like to use the same fuel rail. The way it mounts actually holds the injectors in / in place... (the donor system is from a 3-EE engine, it has the same intake spacing as the 3A, same displacement and is ...

I just can't help it...

I think I'd consider the possibility of some sort of suspension issue... If not a CV..

Few years ago I bought a 1949 Checy pick-up. Restored what was to be done and it was soooo sweeet. I loved that truck... I kept it original, 6 Volt system, split rims, 216 C. I. in-line six (numbers matched)... Ah I miss it...

Some of those Justy's had a funky ECVT or something like that. It was Electronically controlled variable transmission... No gears just varying somehow... From what I've heard, not a great tranny, 5 speeds were OK...
