Did you still need to know what the tops of the piston look like on a 3A? I have an entire engine, piston, and even a spare head lying around so it would be fairly easy to photograph. There are valve notches on the passenger side of the piston like a half bowl, and the rest is flat, if that's what you wanted to know. I would love to see a fuel injected 3A, I hate messing with carbs.

Juss drill holes and JB-Weld them in! heheh
Oh I'm so ghetto.
But then if it worked, you could "upgrade" someday and do a real one.

In all the surfing I've been doing it seems as though some of the 4AFE's have the injectors mounted on the intake manifold.

What I want help with is to confirm the injector arrangement on the 4AFE manifold. What years, cars, models ETC... (4AFE's were widely used and intake arrangment might be different from year to year or car to car???

Pictures are worth a thousand words, so if you come across any or can take some, I'll owe you... ;)

Nice! So it's true... some 4AFE have a manifold mounted injector arrangement...

Can anyone confirm the model years this was the case and which cars? That engine was in MANY cars for MANY years...

I guess I'm down to a salvage yard trip...
