batt braket

looking for oem toyota batt braket ,its that piece of metal that holds batt in place for my 83 t4 wagon,let me know thanks

hard to find one of those in good condition, most are pretty well wasted away by now. many cars i see in the wrecking yard do not even have the bracket present.

On mine I found a suitable after market battery bracket and made a adapter for it on the fender side mount. Anodized aluminum and 10 mm bolts, looks cool.

If you are cleaver you could fabricate one from sheet metal too.

Thanks Petros ,just check today wrecking yard ,but there is no even one in there,86 dlx,85 sr5,another 86 dlx 4wd,everthing but no bracket,
i pick up another sunroof motor for spare and the switch assembly,i go tomorow see what else to pick as spare,well i got to take care 2 tr4 now,so try to fill up my garage shelf for back up.

do you just need the hold down bracket or the tray the battery sits in, too?

either way, all '83-'86 tercels will have the same battery tray and hold down bracket--4wd wagons, 2wd wagons, hatchbacks, so check all of them at your local wrecker.
