All '83-86 Tercels have the same front strut. Also I think all FWD Corollas of the same year also uses the same strut (they use the same strut cartridge anyway).

tried swapping front strut ass'ys between an '84 2wd wagon and an '83 4wd wagon-NOT the same. 2wd ass'y was 1 1/2 to 2 inches shorter. any 4wd wagon should work tho. good luck!
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!
83 SR5 Silver/Blue (Snowmobile/work beater)-totaled but drivable

That is interesting because the strut cartriages are the same. I have found that both Corolla All-trac front strut and the Celica GTS front strut are the same and will fit in the TErcel if you swap out the top mount and use hat shaped washer to change the bolt size at the low end where it bolts to the steering knuckle. It is also larger diameter and has more damping, so you would want to change these as a pair. I have a pair of Celica GTS struts and springs waiting to be installed on my T4wd....

i checked 2 parts sources today (world pac and rock auto) and both came up with the same info- KYB part #s for front strut inserts are- 363037 (4wd) and 363030 (2wd wagon& sedan.) not sure if the strut housings are the same tho. hope this helps.

This link is shown here as an alternate source for parts, not a disagreement on the #'s shown by rer233. Back in late 2007 it had the best pricing and free freight. Dunno now, though, but worth a check.
