Paint codes

Hello again,
My 86 SR5 is two tone in colors. The predominate color is a light color mint green with blue accents. Where are the color codes for a car on the Tercel?

it is on a sticker on the driver's door jamb. do a search on the topic, there is a thread on this topic with a link to a website called touchuppaint, or some such, that has all the color codes for all models of cars going back some 70 plus years. I have bought paint from them for several Tercel project cars. They mix and put in a spray can for you, for a reasonable price. It matched perfectly every time.

The only demarcation on the driver's door jamb is a I.D. metal plate riveted on. The only numbers other than the vin, weight, model, date etc. are the numbers ( 16081-B ), which I didn't see listed when visiting the touch-up site?? There is no evidence of there being any other sticker on the driver's door jamb.

That is the site I found and linked, but there was another site that listed all colors for every year of second gen tercel in one place!

try passanger side door jamb, some years they are under the hood on the fire wall.

what color is your car?

It is a light green with dark blue accents. Tried the passenger side, nothing. Will check the fire wall tomorrow.

color 6J4 light jade metallic perhaps?

Ok, getting close found it on the fire wall plate under the model numbers it was after C/TR A/TM as 2Y6H8 which equates to Green Metallic. This being the color what denotes the accent color? Does any know what the C/TR A/TM signifies?

Still remain clueless as to how to determine the accent color for this Green Metallic car?

What do you mean by accent color?

By accent color I am referring to the areas below the side moldings. These areas on the car are a dark Blue color, every where else is the primary color of metallic Green.

I have an '86 Dealer Brochure and the only two two-tone colors shown are, quoting:
Light Jade / Jade Gray (Interior Gray) and Medium Gray / Dark Gray (Interior Gray).
A possible repaint by PO or OE by dealer?

Look here for all of the color combinations - and tag codes - for Gen II Terc colors. It also shows the two-tone combinations. You can also access the Dealer Brochures for all years.
