A little update- and sorry in advance for the BUMP.
Motor is finally, finally, in. I'm kind of upset, to be honest, with myself with how slow I've been chipping at this car. I'm this way with all my projects however. haha
Once the motor was placed in, I towed it home where I will now finish up the little things. Fulids, adjusting the clutch, installing the carb, Purchasing couple more bolts. a little heres and theres.
I really want to have it finished before Christmas so I can install an inverter and decorate it with Christmas lights like I do for my jeep and gf's rabbit.
Jasper now has a 3ac core, hopefully they will rebuild it. So for anyone interested in a re manufactured motor..
I purchased the tires that I mentioned in a previous post. 195/75/r14 bfg t/a ko . These tires are load rang D and were the smallest tire I could find with all terrain tread. I was on the fence comparing size and weight. I could either have 27 inch lighter tires, or I could have smaller 25.5 inch tires that are heavier. I chose the smaller heavier ones for down the road ideas. I plan on using this set of tires mainly for off road and keeping the 13" wheels for daily use. I do enjoy decent fuel economy.
I picked up some path finder coils from the junk yard, I really don't want three inches of lift.

I'm thinking 1.5 of lift just to clear tires. Some how cutting coils doesn't sit right in my head. Anyone ever look into these for the rear? they fit pathfinder coils, which are the same diameter as tercels.

Also bought one of these, it matches my interior whoop whoop. I know it's nerdy, but I think i'll have alot of fun with it.
That's that for now. Wish I had a little bit more progression. Thanks guys for the first start up information. I bought some marvels mystery oil for the cylinder walls. Don't know if it's a good idea or not.
