Yesterday I was driving back from Michigan when the car in front of me nailed a deer. I stopped to help, the sheriff showed up soon after and to make a long story short, he wrote me out a tag to take the deer home. It was still warm (dead maybe 15 minutes) I love venison and wild food in general, so I loaded it up in the pass seat (my drums were in the back) Emma (my dog) was nervous (am I next?) Took me until after midnight to process the meat, but now my freezer is full. Out of season venison is a luxury in my book.

Otherwise that's pretty awesome.
I'll vacuum it out just to be safe, though so many ticks get on me just from tramping around the woods (and a little dog sleeping at the foot of my bed) it might be a moot point.
I have heard different ticks live on deer, the nasty ones you don't want digging into you.
Bambi's Mudder or Fadder?
NO! Not Bambi himself!
