1.5L to 1.6L

hey i was looking up on the tercels history and its engines i got 53kw 3a-c motor and they reckon with the 1.6l 4a engines the strokes the same but the bored is bigger can the 3a-c be bored out or isnt the head and blok big enough

i believe its cheaper to buy a 4ac engine
tercel 4wd custom suspension, under drive pulley, vented brakes, cold air intake, and plenty more to come

will the 4ac engine fit straight in or wat ?

that is the link to my pull of the 3a, swap everything over and drop a 4a right in it's place.

bit off topic but can i get a lumpy cam for this 3ac engine and will i need to have better valve springs or will they be alrite and how much is it for a lumpy cam aus?

our valve springs floar around 7000 rpm no use for a good lumpy cam, you would need double valve springs or simply get higher rate springs

The 3AC cannot be bored out to the same size as the 4AC. Max recommended overbore doesn't even put you close. The difference is something like 3mm of bore, way more than you can do with a simple overbore. Maybe if you went so in-depth as to do a sleeving job.
