NWNO was the 2" lift all around or just in the rear? I'm looking for a front spring replacements that don't change the CV angle too much. One of my springs has a weird sag from a fender bender.NWMO wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 9:39 pm Iggzmon,
I swapped to Moog 81043 springs in front and stayed with stock struts, love it. I run the Pathfinder springs on the rear and have approximately 2” lift or so over stock.

The 81043 added up front as well, I didn’t want any rake to speak of.

Bit of an update and an album of random Trukcel images: https://photos.app.goo.gl/TrJntkK8V5Dzdnus5
The inner control arm bushings were absolutely destroyed!!
A list of parts I have ordered thus far:
2x KYB 363037 cartridges
2x KYB SB103 bump stop and bellows
2x Moog lower ball joint
2x Moog K9642 strut mount
2x Moog 81043 springs (Thank you for the help Chris!)
4x Timken wheel bearings
2x National front wheel seal kit
SuperPro bushings: spf1062k, spf1064k, and spf0979-21k
Next on the to-do list is Petros awesome brake upgrade and finding some interior panels!
Quite eager to do learn about the powertrain and although I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing the FSM and the tips on this site have me feelin' confident

Thanks for sharing all those photos. How do you find the neoprene outer sway bar bushings? Where did you buy them?

Re: 1984 Trukcel!
that looks like a fixer, body and interior are decent. be a shame to part out a Tercel4wd SR5 with a good body, even if it needs a new engine and trans.
likely it needs a major mechanical repair and some idiot mechanic told the owner it is not worth fixing. Meaning he did not want try it. likely he is younger than the car.
I have seen them show up in wrecking yards in perfect shape, it just needed a head gasket replacement. I can do that is 4 hours and less than $40 worth of parts.
Cleaned up and fixed, it is worth perhaps $3500. well worth fixing! Keep it on the road!

Let me know if you end up parting it out. I need a few things... Since you're in California I can drive up to you for the larger parts.
