'83 SR-5 falls on it's face...
So, I've got a sweet '83 sr5 that was sitting for 5 years and I got it running. A new battery, some fresh gas and she's up and running. A bit hard to start, doesn't idle well, and worst of all it totally falls on it's face when it get to about 4k rpm. Once it's gets to about 4k it's like somebody ...

Also, I'm assuming a weber conversion would never pass smog here in cali right?
Thanks, Frank

4alc carb
Will a 4ac or 4alc carb swap cleanly inplace of the stock 3a carb? The one on the stock 3a has been sitting with gas in it for about 5 years and it's all gummed up, but I can get one from a 4alc for cheap.
Thanks!
Thanks!

From beyond the grave...
Ok, so I've got my hands on an '83 sr5 that has been sitting untouched for about 5 years. It was parked because it has a bad radiator and possibly some other minor issues. So, other then the the rad and probably a carb and new gas any other major considerations with these cars if it's been sitting ...

Lifting the Free Terc...
So, I'm going to be getting an '83 terc 4wd wagon for free (well, $300+ in dmv fees) and I'm looking to lift it up a bit for a trek into the Oregon wilderness over the summer. So, I've found people have used various Junk yard springs to lift there tercels a bit, Saab springs, TJ springs, etc ...
