Thanks Peter,
Part of the fun would be in making something work. I would consider a “line lock” for the ebrake and use the freed up console area for cup holders.

Re: Looking for help with user accounts
Good afternoon Augustus, irowiki still handles all the hardware/software work and I try to respond to the new registrations. We (myself and a couple of others) are evaluating each registration and I send a confirmation email if the registration isn't clearly spam. If a registrant responds and is obv...
Re: Terc #2
Diarmait, Not yet, I did have to move it out of the garage last weekend so we could get my son's 76' Maverick in briefly to replace the master cylinder and bleed the brakes. Typically wouldn't care about being in the garage on that job, but when it's around 20 degrees give or take with a breeze, the...

Re: If I can manage a suitable repower in the future
Able,
I'm running similar 14s to yours on my 85' and it drags around pretty well. If/when I proceed with my "keeper" build, it will hopefully include a repower with more torque. Then I would have to be careful not to tear up the tranny.

Re: rear hatch plastic trim color?
cars-guy,
I looked at some ads over lunch and I would suggest it is closer to black than gray, but it doesn't seem quite as dark as the rear bumper.

Pretty funny video, I'm sure it's been shared before. You can thank cars-guy for the wasted time, I found this when looking at old videos hoping to answer his post.

Re: If I can manage a suitable repower in the future
I’m hopeful a little body lift and reasonable tires will keep my future project a daily driver, but a more capable, powerful daily.

Here is a link to a member's write up about what is necessary found in the Repair Guide section of the site. It is possible. The search engine on the site is so-so, I will often search from Google and include Tercel4WD.com in the search, seems to work better. https://tercel4wd.com/forums/viewtopic.p...

Smatters,
This one was posted here in August. A little closer to you and nobody responded, may be a possibility.

PS - This fellow hasn't visited the site since September so I sent him an email to see if he still had the car.

Re: Isolate front brakes?
Hey guys, Thanks for the replies. I’m not looking to pass safety inspection currently, just title inspection for transfer. When I got the Rusty Frog I drove it over to the shop using the hand brake. When it comes time for the safety inspection, this shop is great to work with. The Rusty Frog is no t...

Sounds great,
The best I’ve done is an 800 mile weekend. But I do drive her daily 100 miles or so.

Isolate front brakes?
Hey all,
Is there a good way to block the rear brakes off and just use the front? It doesn’t look obvious, but I would like to ignore the failed lines to the rear and use only front brakes so I can drive the car for title inspection/transfer.
