Re: locked rear wheels

Congratulations,

The threads get pretty rusty sometimes and may have been a challenge. The drums on my 83’ and 84’ were both threaded for an approx 1/4” bolt. Great patience, I would have likely broken something.

Re: Finally got an alignment!

Tercy,

Sounds good! I went with a slightly longer mono-shock in the rear after the Pathfinder springs.

I believe I have 1.5” or so of lift over original stock height. It lifted more than that however, because things were sagging some. Good luck and share some pics!

Hey Mattel,

Were you trying to line a file of some type?

Re: locked rear wheels

David & all,

As some of you are likely aware, the bolts holding the rear door to the B pillar are the correct size/thread. When you open the rear door, it is easy (with an extension) to remove one top and one bottom for use removing the drum. Remember to put back when done :)

Hey Mattel and Erik,

Just for clarification, this is a Buick I believe. Very nice looking car.

Engine and ??

From a fellow at Oklahoma State,

“I have an engine and miscellaneous parts for an 83 tercel 4X4. not looking for much money but want to get them to someone who can use them.”

I let him know pics would be good. Any interest, let me know.

Aguila,

Keegan is in the FB page and may have something, he’s in an early 80s Tercel.
