Could be the charcoal canister isn't getting purged...check the valve that purges it? Check the large (3/8"?) hoses going to the can....mine was melted thru....had a gas smell for sure.

Mine ('85) was almost in that good of condition when I bought it. Its first two non garaged Minnesota winters were really hard on it though.

My 2006 Forester has a lot of the same features that I loved about my old wagon, but not nearly as much charm.

Isn't there like 15 more lbs of torque?

I sold the car to a guy I work with. He's really happy with the car. He even used it to move last weekend. He was amazed at how much stuff he could cram in that little car.

I could have gotten more for it, but a guy here at work needed a car bad since he doesn't have one at all. At least it'll still be around. B)

I got a 0 to 60 in mine at about 17.5 seconds.

Memories of the car will probably fade the first time I have to merge into traffic. Yeah, it was a good car, but it served its purpose well, and it's time to move on.

My '92 with a 22RE and 30 inch tires gets 22 to 24 on the highway, maybe 20 around town. I've always been impressed with how decent of mileage it gets for a 4WD truck with a large topper.

Those are so hard to find anywhere.
