Somewhere I have a picture of Suzuki samurai diffs I did in the same fashion. I broke driveshafts, but never a diff! I used an OLD miller arc, some 7018ac and just went to town.

I daily drive it, city... ist insanely freakin awesome.


..and if i break a diff or axle on the street.... that will be THAT more awesome!

I've been thinking about the interchange-ability as well on these front struts. Thats some good investigative work and the pics are much appreciated!! I think i might try this soon myself, but hopefully someone beats me to it so i dont have to figure out as much

I've been trying to find those Leatherneck strips.. but no dice. I'm going to eventually have it painted and its going to suck loosing them! I guess its pretty rare.

I'm having trouble finding information on what the rear axle is and if there is an LSD or locker availible for it. Im sure someone on here knows, i just cant find it!! Thanks guys.

noooooo!!! it will not work!! Do NOT engage 4wd if you have missmatched diffs! if it does engage, then one end will be binding severly against the other and probably break something very quickly. I built a grand cherokee and re-geared the back before the front and tried it once and it as horrific ...

I've also wondered about this. I noticed mine was chopped in half and wondered a: if there was an ecu that ran the car and b: what does it really control? I think im going to start planning a complete emissions removal soon and see how it goes. The only thing i was worried about is if there was any ...
