That is correct and still no takers. The trans still works, I shouldn't have to scrap it... might also have another working one available as soon as I yank out the one in my '84.

I will be pulling the tired trans in my '84 sr5 (worn syncros and noisy bearings), which is going to get replaced with a 4.10 final drive one, something I've been looking forward to for awhile. I figure I will try and sell it off as a good core at least.

that is a good price for a working Tercel trans. Fed-ex ground freight would be something like $60-70, perhaps less. the cheapest way is to make a plywood box that tightly holds the trans inside, and cover it with carboard. No handles or skids, or they charge you extra. they want it in a cardboard box or they charge you extra, but you need the wood crate to protect it and hold it in place, so wrap it it cardboard and deliver it to a fed-ex shipping depot.
