No trans, poor photo. A project for somebody, just bring a trailer.

huh. interesting. he says the interior and exterior are in good shape so i'd like to see more pics up close. if it's been stored for 13 years, it could be nice and well worth the work.

it does not say no trans, it says the trans is out of it. If someone started doing a clutch job and just gave up on it than it would be a good buy. If the trans is trashed than the price may be okay depending on the condition of the body and interior, and the number of mouse nests you would have to clean out of every corner and cavity on the car.

Sounds like a project for you Petros...If I lived closer I would grab it. But of course I too suffer from Tercelitis.

I'd never heard of Birch Tree, so had to look it up. It's way South in MO, not far from the AR border.
Oddly, two of the more recent governors of MO have hailed from there.

Good thing it's not closer to me... I might do something stupid... but I already have too many cars...
Current vehicles: 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300SD Turbodiesel with 211,000, 1994 Buick Century with 50,000, and a 2004 Toyota Corolla 5-speed with 153,000 (not mine, but I drive it)

I also have 8 vacuums, 8 typewriters, 5 sewing machines, and two lawnmowers...

buying a Tercel4wd to rescue is never stupid. Paying too much for a project car however might be consider poor judgement.;-)

welcome to the forum 84Terc4wd!

Great way to save a classic! can you tell us the story of this car, why it came to rest in a barn for 13 years?

Pictures please! how did you find this forum, and what made you buy a Tercel4wd?

welcome, 84terc4wd. glad you joined the club and will be resurrecting one of these fabulous machines. i'm sure you'll find them a pleasure to work, save for the stock carb which can be annoying while working on the learning curve. once you're familiar with them though, they're actually pretty solid.

also looking forward to pics and more info on the car! such a curious story.
