I've been holding onto the old transaxle from my former '86 SR5, Goldie. The exact mileage is unknown, but it still drove ok. I noticed the syncros were worn and there was some whine once you got in 3rd gear. It would pop out of 2nd gear, but only if you were decelerating on a very steep hill. You can either drive it as-is, or you can use it as a core to rebuild. I also have a front differential case, the front ring & pinion were gutted. Make make an offer, I need to get rid of it ASAP and would prefer not to scrap it as it likely has parts that could be useful. I also have a passenger seat from an '85 SR5, blue diamond pattern in fair condition that I would like to sell along with the trans.
EDIT: Posted it up on craigslist due to lack of response.
