i agree that they look cool. not surprisingly, the 4wd civic wagons have their own cult. i posted a fantastic video made by one of their followers here.

i think i prefer the tercel's bone simple, manually engaged 4wd to the civic's viscous coupling. my understanding of that system is that it automatically engages 4wd when wheels start to slip. i'm a control freak.
