A must watch ! ! ! Watch in full screen!

Eight minutes of music, when GP cars were cars. These guys were racing!
They were less than a minute off the (at-the-time) course record in the history of the OZ GP.

Fangio was 67 (!) at the time, and the W196R was 24 years old! This was the one that just sold for a tad less than $30M USD at Bonhams.
Brabham was a pup at 52 (also a "!"), and the BT19 was only 12.

Turn up your speakers for MUSIC!

OT - while never an Indy fan, I almost made the 1964 running, just to see Jim Clark, Jack Brabham, Dan Gurney, and Bob Wente. The latter was from STL and I'd met him once when I was a kid at a midget race here in the '50s. I'm glad I did not go - there was one of the most horrific crashes in Indy's history, involving at least 9 cars, killing Eddie Sachs and Dave MacDonald in a holocaust of fire (this was the last race run with avgas and no fuel cells).
