I wouldn't mind some photos. Is it manual?

No interior photos. If I make the drive down to Vancouver to look at the other tercel. I may have to swing by kaslo and take a look at this one as well.

Re: 1985 Toyota Tercel SR5 Wagon - $1200 (Kaslo, BC)
I went to see this car. It has had lots of work done to it, new gas tank, rear brakes, shocks and struts. Left front strut is missing it's boot. The mechanic who put it in forgot to order a new one. Exhaust is good, trans and engine seemed OK. No smoke on start up. Loose wheel bearing on front left, right front caliper dragging, right outer cv axle boot torn. Apparently front brakes were new too. Inner tie rod or possibly steering rack on right side play and a clunk. It has manual steering for anyone who is interested. Quite a clunk that can be felt in the steering when you brake. The fuel stain on the filler cap is from a long term leak, that owner said is now fixed with the new tank. Radiator fins rotted out. It is not an SR5, interior very clean, didn't notice any tears in fabric. There is a big dent in the roof around the roof racks. You're probably wondering why I didn't buy it. The inner rocker panels and inner rear quarter panels had holes. The stub frame that comes out by the front wheel on the left was rotten too. Didn't inspect the floor too carefully, so may have missed something. Large hole where the spare tire lives and hole in left rear quarter, can't remember about the right rear. I might be missing a few things but I wasn't interested in repairing the rot for the price they were asking. I think they got the car for a song and then put lots of money into it that they are hoping to recover. It had been painted before which is why the exterior looks so good. I still have mixed feelings about not getting it. Just too many fixer uppers in my life taking up all my time. I think it will run well for some lucky person willing to do the repairs.
