It the pipe that locate between "Cat Convert and Muffler" In the past I drove few Canadian Tercel 4WD for long time , I have been replacing exhaust system lot of time . This time I finally own American version Tercel 4WD . The American version is aprox 10 " shorter than Canadian version , The Canadian brand have different kind Cat convertor . Yesterday(sunday)I was down at Bellingham ,WA , at NAPA and O'Reilly auto parts that they don't have any in stock , I had to wait 3-5 business day to receive the proper pipe . I was out of luck so today I had to take the "Canadian version" Extension pipe to muffler shop to had it chop off approx 10 " and re-weld the flange.
I forgot to take few pictures to show an example , Yesterday , I met one of Tercel 4WD member and showed the difference .
Anyhow , I just like to remind you , if you own American version on Canada side or other way around , be prepare before you loose your muffle on a HWY .
