"July 8th-10th

On the 8th we will meet up at Arundel Mills Mall @ around 2 pm. We can hang out and let everyone say hello and wait for all the straglers.
We will leave for Capitol Raceway @ 4 pm
and we can get some grub and watch some people make runs...I will bring some grub, but i have to know how many people are going to show up so i dont bring a bag of chips and a 2 liter for 30 people
I hope to see many out of towners and if all goes as planned we will defiantely see some of the Pioneers in the Tercel tuning scene...
The 9th we can meet up @ arundel Mills again so hopefully people will know where it is... Arundel Mills is a very big mall with lots of stores and restaraunts so if you want to do a little shopping or if we get hungry they have a food court and such.
the 9th is up for grabs as to what we do, we can go back to capitol Raceway or we can crusie around or maybe even find a place to have a brabeque. Just let me know what you want and ill do my best...

should be alot of fun as there will be boosted tercels as well as show car tercels and stockers and everything in between... we need to get some 4wd tercels out here though... im hoping some of you guys can make it and if you have any questions/concerns dont hesitate to post, message, or email me.

I would be glad and honored to have any 4wd tercel there so come otu and have a good time and meet some good people!

well i never did buy that 86 tercel to do the 4agze swap into
but,
this july 14 my car is scheduled to begin work on stronger internals stadnalone ecu and turbo!!!

but anyway yeah this meet has been confirmed to be an all tercel/paseo meet and so far i have people from canada, noviscotia, to georgia and hopefully florida, we have some people driving down from the great lakes area as well
should be a very big meet with lots of fun for everyone.

on the second day saturday july the 9th we are going to a park and renting a pavillion for a cookout and some outdoor activities such as basketball football frisbee etc.

we are currently looking at Centennial Park

since i am bored and i dont really expect everyone to go searching around to see which park is better... im going to have to say that you will just have to trust my judgment.

The Cookout and outdoor activities will be at Centennial Park because it is bigger and has nicer Pavillions

As it stands now, JULY 8TH we will be Meeting up @ Arundel Mills @ 2PM we can chill and shoot the breeze and meet everyone until 4PM when we will leave for Capitol Raceway as a group. We can either eat lunch at Arundel Mills mall or we can order Pizza and have it delivered to capitol or stop on the way to capitol to get some grub its up to you all and you dont have to decide until the meet (as i cant speak for everyone else but i cant tell when ill be hungry and for what on july 8th)

We can chill at capitol and make runs and watch the friday night test and tune session and then if people are up to it we can cruise and terrorize the unsuspecting ricers once the sun goes down... we can also eat dinner together and again, where and what is up to everyone.

Saturday, JULY 9TH we can meet up at the mall again @ 12:00 pm( i hope that is noon) wait maybe an hour for everyone to get there and then head to Centennial Park for our cookout( ) NOTE: You do not have to be there @ NOON as you are more than welcome to sleep in and drive straight to the park if you had a long night pissing off ricers or if you GOT LAID AT THE MARYLAND MEET

We can play all kinds of activities such as frisbee, basketball, footbal, volleyball, tennis, fishing, hiking, boating. We will also have some very nice scenery to take pictures and whatnot. The pavillion rental is for all day and the park closes at dusk(which i beleive will be sometime around 8:30 that day)

Saturday night, once again if the demand is there we can go for a little night cruise in search of some more proud and unsuspecting ricers
OR
Those of us who are old enough(not me) can go "clubbing" or if we have some out of towners renting a hotel, we can have a hotel party .

Sunday, JULY 10th is still a tossup...
we can go back to the park or the mall or capitol, or do anything else...







NOTE:
Othe makes and models are definately allowed at capitol if they have the balls to show up anyone opposed to this???
there is a fellow on Toyotanation who drives a camry and an MR2 said that he would defiantly be at capitol he will be in for quite a supriseAlso there is my boss with the GTO who said he will see if he can make it IF there is some worthy competition

travel arrangments are up for grabs as though i know there is alot of interest in Tercel/Paseo convoys from different areas(north, south, great lakes)

we also have to "roll out to starbucks" for Filthyhands and do a little racing on one of the days as i have a date with filthy on the street
id also very much like to race MKII Kelly as i know he has everything but a rollcage and engine swap/turbo in his car...

We can visit Centennial Park EITHER SAURDAY JULY 9th OR SUNDAY JULY 10TH
but unless someone has any ideas why we should have it on Sunday the 10TH it will be scheduled for Saturday The 9th


If you have any problems with the times (as i know there are waaaay out of towners coming in, let me know and ill cater to you guys because i dont want to have people waking up at 5 am just to get here @ 4pm

Lol. You should all come out to Colorado and test your bests on the high altitude drags. If you can haul at Bandimere, you can kick arse at sea. It is kind of funny to watch vehicles lose 2 seconds from sea to Bandimere with no mods made. Bandimere is really the place that you want to set that 12,13,14, or 15 second goal at. Then you just go to sea and brag about your 14 second car, then when the next Joe says, "Hey, I have a 14 second car.. Want to drag?" Then you can kick his ass and when he gets out to cuss your "Lying good-for-nothing ass" out, you can just clarify.. "No, it really is a 14 second car.. Just at a mile high!"

estes park is the shizznit, i have family in wyoming and we always come to denver for some fun too bad my car will never make it out that far, too many miles and i am not a good distance driver, but i would definately go if i had the opportunity

the last meet only consisted of hanging out, grabbing a bite to eat, and a bit of cruising, whereas this next meet will be action packed with fun for everyone!!!im sure we can even find a place to go off roading if thats you bag B)

Estes is just 15 miles up the road from me. Fun place. I ran into a light pole watching a parade there hehehe.. Its also where I got my first chemistry set.

yea i hear that on the long distance driving,
although i have a couple people coming down from toronto and people coming up from florida, georgia, and a guy coming down from nova scotia. as well as a few members from the great lakes areas and all states surrounding MD
i with help from some other organizers are now dabbling in the thought of possible media coverage as we will have some big names there such as Eclipse and family from http://www.eclipseforever.com who used to own one of the most tricked out tercels ever until he got carjacked and they roasted his car

but he will definately be there along with a handful of other very knowledgeable people that can give you advice as well as some people that will trade/buy/sell things at the meet and show you how to install them and whatnot

things are looking very good for this meet and i would like to share it with my 4wd buddies

the MARYLAND meet now has 4 sponsors


how about Tercel4wd.com being another sponsor????
the only catch is you have to have a representative come to the meet to spread the word about Tercel4wd.com...
id like to give something back to Tercel4wd.com for helping me out and adding the URL to my sig hasn't been enough and i have refered a dozen people but the ultimate would be to offer free advertising for the website...
i am not asking for any money at all, just the permission to use the Tercel4wd.com name to promote the meet and it will be up a to representative to promote tercel4wd.com at the meet by handing out flyers etc...
there will also be a DVD made of the meet that willbe for sale after the meet.
the maker of the dvd has promised to make space for advertising./promotions on the dvd for all the sponsors..
as an incentive to representatives, the rep will recieve a free t shirt that will be designed by one of our sponsors 4EVERGRAFIX. 4EVERGRAFIX.com i believe
with all the sponsors logos to display the collaboration of the tercel/paseo community

That sounds like a really good idea! If I was closer I'd offer to represent tercel4wd.com, but unfortunetly I'm actually a long long way away.

Is there anyone else on this forum who is close enough to make it there? Would be good to get our name out and find more participating members.

I'm close enough but my car is a piece of shit and I can't promote or generally be outgoing very well especially not by myself. It is a few months away so maybe I will have something better going on car-wise by then. Unfortunately I recently moved and spent all my money and am still stuck with two crappy Tercels that aren't really fit for the road.

dont expect every car there to be tricked to the max...
i would expect some of them to be in bad shape...
free advertising is the shiznit and im surprised that i still have 4 other potential sponsors that havent even responded...
im going to send out more emails to those who havent responded as i will be going to toyota once i have a list of sponsors and then i will be going to the local newspapers and news stations to see what kind of media coverage we can get:D

good news with the T-Shirts, ECLIPSE and 4EVERGRAFIX is hooking me up with at cost prices which will be passed on to the meet attendees so these shirts will be a very great value...
remember being a rep will give you pride, recognition, and a free T-Shirt
