towing a tercel 4 wd
is this a good or bad idea to tow a tercel with all four tires on the ground. i want to buy one for behind my rv. if you have any ideias or want to sell one let me know.

This was a very common practice for this car, I have bought them with the tow bar attachment. I have flat towed them a number of times to get a project car home, but not continuously like you might on long distance travel with an RV. There might be some concern for the trans getting lube to the transfer case (perhaps list member splatterdog might know more about this). But I have not heard of it causing a problem.

i think forum member nedflanderz's tercel had a tow bar on it from the previous owners towing it behind their RV, and i remember seeing an ad for one on here that also had it. i am wary about the same lubrication issue petros mentioned but it seems that others have done it without issue.
