I'm tired of my ugly, cracked up, fiberglassed cover. Does anyone have one in good shape? Mounting hardware would be cool too. I could pay for it, or trade tercel parts off my old car if that works better.
Thanks!

Re: WTB: Inclinometer cover
These are hard to find, I keep my eyes open for you. What color do you need?
You might remove it and sand down the mess you have and spray paint it matching color, and than clear coat it. It is easy and works reasonably well.
Another thing you might try is to take it off and cover it with some vinyl fabric you get from an upholstery shop. Even some matching woven upholstery fabric could look nice. You put contact cement on both the cover and the inside of the fabric, let it dry 20-30 min, than put the vinyl (glue side up) under a heat lamp so it gets good and soft. And than you quickly (but carefully) wrap it around the cover. The contact cement will glue on contact, so you want to practice it without glue, and do it carefully. But you will be able to stretch it so it covers the curves without wrinkles. I have done it, it works good if you take your time to practice it.

More on Petros' suggestion - if you have a tan interior, see https://tercel4wd.com/forums/viewtopic.php? ... =naugahyde for info about a perfect match - and pix.
The Naugahyde "Whisper" line comes in a fantastic array of colors. I plan on recovering my visors and making an e-brake cover from it this Winter.

Re: WTB: Inclinometer cover
Oh yes, I forgot to mention, I need the black one. I have some vinyl for a new shifter boot already, I'll have to try covering what I have. Still interested in a nice condition cover if someone can find one though...

Re: WTB: Inclinometer cover
They never came in black in North America. Grey or brown only. The black dash was not introduced until '87, and by then they had eliminated the inclinometer in North America. So you will either have to paint a colored one black, or recover what you have.
