WTB: power steering crossmember

I mentioned on here a while ago that i wanted to upgrade my car to power steering, and somebody told me that the crossmembers are different on cars with/WO power steering...I have the engine out of the car and im ready to do it now so...anybody have a PS crossmember for sale? id also be willing to buy a used PS rack in good shape also...but may just spring for a new one on rockauto.

do you have the power rack and pump already? I might be able to find a cross member for you at the local wrecking yard, they have two Tercel wagons in inventory, do not know if they are PS or not. PM me if you can not find a cross member and I will check the local yard sometime this week.

No i do not have a power rack and pump yet, i think i will just buy the new rack off RA, and i was planning to use a VW pump when i get the new engine (vw diesel swap). I do have my "parts" car with everything in it that has PS...but id rather not cannabilize it as theres nothing wrong with it...so yeah i guess im going to let this thread live a few days and see if anybody else has one on here, then il pm you in a day or 3 and take you up on your offer.

another thought: if anybody has the "flip flop" style mirrors vs the rigid ones il buy a set of those also...I also will be getting rid of my manual Xmember and rack if anybody wants that after i get the power set up..
