4afe and 3a/trans combo for sale - Portland, Or

Hi all, been awhile since I've been on here. Nice to read what some of you have been up to. I've had this 4afe in my garage for over a year, reality is I'm never going to do the swap I've been planning in my head. I removed it, and every wire loom, fuse junction, bolt, nut and plug from a 1991 Prizm, that I drove around briefly before pulling. I know the engine runs perfectly, and I am willing to guarantee it if someone wants to give it a whirl. I'm asking $150 for it. I actually removed everything electric from the car, disassembled the car to get everything, down to the headlight harnesses that still have the bulbs in them. All are still attached to the engine, no mystery plugs/ports, no "extra parts", you could theoretically hook up a battery and fuel supply and run this bugger. The AT was questionable, worked fine for me, but prev owner said it stuck in Park once, and scared her, so I got the whole car for $300. I also have the radiator with attached elec fan, steering column with keys, pedal assemblies, master cylinder, heater core and seats. Lots of work down the drain, but life is life. The AT actually worked just fine when I drove it, my guess is that she parked hard up against a curb or something, and the linkage got bound up.

The other item is a running (poorly) 3a engine with 6spd trans attached, this is a T4wd I sold to a friend, and he used it as a DD until the motor got weak/smoky. Trans worked great for me, he says it's still in fine shape. It is currently on the Portland, Or Craigslist page under Auto Parts. If you are not local, I can pallet it up for you and ship, if you arrange the shipping, he doesn't have the time to mess with it. He is asking $100 for the whole shebang. I don't want anything for the help to ship, or likewise for the 4a, I'd like to see a member here have some fun with it.

I suppose if someone had a T4wd that needed an engine.. I would probably buck my better judgement and get it and finally do the swap, but both Tercs I've had in the past ran too well to chop up. Anyway, the engine's not in the way, and I'm not hauling it away to the scrapyard, so I'm not in a real hurry to off it, if you read this, and in a month or two find yourself in a situation where you're interested in diving into this, give me a shout. What year is the tranny from? Any idea how many miles on it when pulled?

1985 transmission with the extra low gear, 230K miles. There are a couple of pics on his Craigslist ad, listed in Hubbard, Or.
