another issue..

So my Terk tends to sound kind of loud when idling. The fan for the motor comes on and there is a ticking noise. Is this normal? Is it the thermostat maybe? It doesn't seem to be overheating but should it sound like this? :?:

I do not hear a ticking sound when my fan comes on. How fast is the tick? Is something hitting the fan perhaps, or a bad spot on the fan bearing?

Ok so maybe it's not a tick..I don't really know how to describe the sound. The fan does come on though, is this normal?

my fan comes on when it has been idling and not moving after about 1 min, that is normal. I do not hear any noise other than the fan motor running in a hum sound.

Might be the Air Suction system if you have the California model...the reed sticks and allows exhaust to escape.

If all else is in order...the fan switch might be bad...it defaults to always running when it goes bad.

Could be the thermostat....
