My new ride

Post by Challenger »

So I´ve got a new ride now. Not a Tercel but an interesting car non the less. My nephew is getting his drivers liecence in a couple of weeks time and I gave him the Terc.

Here are a couple of pictures of my new ride. It´s a Suzuki Jimny 2008. I bought it after it rolled over. Fixed it up, raised it a few inches and put on 33" tires. It weighs about as much as a Tercel and I will be able to drive on the glaciers here in it. If you deflate these tires it floats really well.

Just saw a program about Iceland (Travels to the Edge)...where the guy does photography in various places...beautiful country...80% of energy from hydro and geothermal?

Can't belivve that blue Jimney made it through.

I wish they sold that model here! I love small 4wd vehicles, all they sell now is the big V6 Suzuki Vitara. Heavy and poor economy.

Very Interesting - I was about to ask about the volcanic eruption when I noted your link.
WOW ! What dramatic photos! Thanks! I'm posting that link to my FaceBook page!
You are quite handy with tools, that's for sure! What was wrong with the gold car that you had to transfer the body?
