Happy holidays folks,
The stupidity continues...Icy roads in Toronto, and some overzealous 'cornering' have landed my very newly roadworthy Terc with a bent rear passenger axle. The alloy rim is dented on the side (not too badly just the lip) but upon spinning the wheel a noticeable wobble has developed ( i would say 1/2" + of side to side movement during rotation) . The wheel seems fairly true, but the axle has a wobble to it (1/8") I have a parts car and am prepping to pull the axle and bearing, but want to go snowboarding tomorrow, Can I drive on my wobbly wheel? (50km each way)
Thanks again,
happy new year!
Dave.

Uhhhm
It'd be a seriously bad idea.

If it was off by 1/8"..just maybe...1/2"...you are asking for a disaster...axles break.
Give a boy a gun-give a biatch a cell phone-and pretty soon you almost got yourself a police state.
