Heater question
Heater question
Ok so I installed a new heater core and now the air isn't very wram and it only seems to blow out from the defroster and a little by the floor has any one else had this problem or does any one know what it could be?

If you have hot water in a new core that leaves only blend/mode doors(internal flaps). Controls/cables can sometimes bind. Adjustment could be off. Foam gaskets on them could be failing too.

on heater output. pull the intermediate piece between the blower and the heater core. The two flaps that you can access move together(one opens, one closes) the upper one needs to seat at the top or you won't get much, if any heat. BTDT
The foam gaskets that Petros is referring to are the ones that seal these flaps to wherever it is they seal.
