Hi recently my beloved Tercel, "the Yam" pooched a clutch while on a backwoods sabatical. I was driving on old decomissioned logging roads when I started losing gears one after another, soon trying to grind away in reverse, in the dark down a road I wouldn't lead a goat (ok maybe not that bad, but you get the idea). Wouldn't have been too big of a deal but when I got out of the car to fix a flat I slipped on the rocky roadbed and landed on my head, spent the night camped out by the car after waking up with a sore head and then I hiked about 20 km before I ran into some Search and Rescue ATV's out trailriding. I always have my hiking gear with me in the car in case of trouble and now my wife bought me a GPS (nice) . I know our little beasts arn't really meant for it but I love 4x4in out of a side trail and suprising a mountain biker :)

I wanted to thank you guys here on tercel4wd for looking for me on the forums.
Any how thanks for the help guys!!

Glad you're OK! Great story, much better than the newspaper. You live in a spectacular area - someday I'd like to get up there. As close as I've been is on the other side of the channel at Campbell River and Courtenay.

A T4WD will go...almost...the same places some of the 4 wheel ATVs will...easy to turn around in limited spaces. I think I managed to turn mine around in a space maybe 13 feet between trees...when a trail stopped at a stream. One issue though is that there is no low in reverse.
