I recently put new 17" wheels and tires on my daughters Honda Accord. I just remembered, the wheels had a universal pattern....so I had to see what the Tercel looked like with 17's on it. Tires are 215/45-17.

Sweet.....

Then you ask, "So what does a Honda Accord look like with mud grip tires?" You know I had to try it also.

Got to hurry and change them back before my daughter gets home.

Got time off for the holidays...eh? ;)

That's a fancy looking Tercel...and a mean lookin' Honda. Will the Tercel actually drive?

Looks good (except the choice of rim). I think that you'd have troubles turning the 215's so they didn't rub the frame. 205 seems to be the largest (atleast the largest i could fit).

Yes Takza, it is drivable. I only did the one side just to get a look. I moved it around on the driveway, but that is as far as I went. I do think the front tires would scrub when turned all the way, just as 20V mentioned.

Don't fancy the rims huh 20V? They do look better on the Accord.

My son wanted to take the Tercel to town and cruise. I wanted to take the Accord to the dirt roads and cruise(rally), but my wife changed my mind.

How do you guys that live up North stand this cold weather? I spend 1 week a month in Iowa, and boy is it cold up here this week. My boss just laughs when I'm here during the winter. Now I know why I live in the south.

I just wear a winter jacket and freeze off my rear for the 15 miles drive to school. Viva la -30 degrees! (I need to buy a new thermostat)

The coldest it has gotten here was like 50 degrees Farenheit and people were complaining. I guess we're not used to -15 degrees. But I have been in below zero temps. and it is freezing.

Well then in the summer...you guys just roast...while we roast too.....

I remember a road trip cross country back from Cali-forn-eye-A one time in the summer....great weather till we started down off the high plains.....by the time I saw the Mississipi I was feeling sick from the humidity...and maybe the higher air pressure.

Best weather is in the west.......

You know whats fun? A good old Colorado summer. Who wouldn't love low air pressure, medium-low humidity and 100+ degrees with almost zero cloud cover? Albeit, thats only recently, what with the 6 year drought. Before that it was 50-90% humidity AND 100+ degrees. Joy.
