each engine can i make in my TERCEL 4WD from other car model

my tercel 4WD engine was in a bad situation and i look for replacing this engine with other from any other car model
plz tell me the other car model that can i take from it the engine and make it in my TERCEL 4WD
i have TERCEL 4WD model 1990

are you sure you have a tercel? it was made between 1982 and 1988. You may have a corolla AWD wagon which was named the like the tercel as the carib sprinter ins some countries. In Australia lots of dealers get confused and call the cars the wrong name because the only Tercel we had is the 4wd wagon.
The best way to check is to pop the hood. Is the engine going across the body between the wheels as then it is a corolla wagon. Or if it is going in line with the body it is a Tercel4wd.

They look a little similar but are completely different mechanically.

Tercel easily accepts the 4ac and 3ac engines.

Corolla AWD accepts 4AFE to 4AGE engines.

I have never heard of a Tercel 4wd year 1990, I thought they were discontinued after 1987. Double check your model year. In 1988 they introduced the Corolla based All-Trac to replace it (totally different engine and drive train). Unless you have something we have never seen. Can you post or find a link to a picture of the car you have so we can see what you are talking about? The engines would be different for different models of cars.

last one 1988 ; i have auto tercel 4WD sitting on my driveway tag says >DEC 1987 #306,687 < which mean 1988 , i put that information in "production number " few days ago .

I'll say with 100% certainty that that IS NOT a 1990 model. We can't see the headlights in that photo, so I'll just say it's probably a 1985 to 1986 model. SR5 model. 3A engine.

Looks just like my '85 SR5 right down to the wheels, only mine's Gold. 3A (or3-AC) is the correct motor, SOME of the 4As fit in easily-it depends on where the dizzy is, I believe.

according to the picture , it's 83 to 86 , how can you tell if not "83" but look like "85-86" , front side marker are orange "83-86" , front side marker are clear with little orange are "87-88" ... but the toyota's mag wheels are "83 ,84 and up ??.
just look up the I.D. tag on driver door jam , there the month/year will tell you AND on valve cover will tell you "3A, 3A-C , or 4A or maybe something else

Than that means any 3A, 3AC, or 4AC engine will work. These came in the '83-87 Tercels (2wd or 4wd) and Corollas (any others car models?). There are other engines that can be made to fit, but they take a lot of messing with to do a conversion. The 3A or 4A engines should be a direct bolt-in swap.
