Anyone have a membership to a reverse cell phone lookup ...

Post by Neu »

I have someone who is texting me, but they wont say who it is. Anyway, Ineed to know who it is, and the only way to really do that is to use a reverse phone number lookup, and as it's a cell phone it's expensive, like 15 bucks.

So if you already have a membership to one of the sites that can do it, please let me know.

I don't care about this cell phone rambling.... I also don't care about cell phone stuff... I also am not going to lie.... However, once I get a cell phone, if I do, I plan to get the iPhone... Those are slick units.... I also don't support drivers who drive/ride while talking on their cell phones.....

I'm not going to get into a cell phone fight, but I do work with different cell phone companies quite a bit (Apple, motorola, Samsung, and Nokia) and I'll tell you, the Iphone isn't that great from a power user stand point. It was just the FIRST major smartphone from apple, and with apple's success with the Ipod, people bought it up.

I dont own an iphone, but my brother does. He says about after three weeks it lost it's "ooooh" factor, and it's just a phone. It doesn't do anything better then my HTC Wizard (Cingular 8125). He even says he wants to get a new phone, but he's spent so much on it that he can't.

I'm gearing up to buy the G1,when it gets unlocked for use with ATT.

I got my first cell phone in 1991 on doctor's orders. "Ron, if you want to drive, you must have a phone with you!" It was a Motorola flip phone and all it did was operate like a phone! It weighed about a pound and was heavy duty enough that it could stand in for a hammer.

Why do people need a device that does more than simply make a call? Does it really have to take photos and play music? Does anyone remember stopping their car and using a pay phone?

I have a Motorola razr and I use less it less than 10 minutes each month. I haven't gone to a movie in years because of all the annoying people yapping and texting. What is so important that a message can't wait?

Cheers!

I use my cell phone to browse these forums when Im' at work. I text message a lot, when I'm working on my car i download the images/tutorials to my phone so I can view them while working on the car without having to risk my laptop.

Overall, it makes things more convenient, but I could definitely live without it.
