idle question
hi i have a 87 tercel sr5 and wanted to know what the idle speed should be set at? what rpm should i have it at

Usually on the sticker under the hood or shoot for something below 1K rpm?

According to the FSM, Idle speed depends on Whether you have AC, PS, and or an auto trans. if you have none of those, it should be 650 +_150, add PS, it should go up by 100, etc.-- AS Archinstl said, check your underhood sticker.
