so I have an 85 SR5 wagon, but i dont have the tilt,j and I want it. So I go pick one up from a 83 or 84 tercel wagon, i'm not sure, anyway, it had a mounting bracket.

how should i go about mounting this thing? should I just drill into the dash,a nd use nice long metal screws? I think that might work, but I'd have to reset the tilt and whatnot, which isn't a huge deal.

Do a Search - GTSSportCoupe did a good "How To" a couple of years ago. I think someone else did as well.
