Could This Be A Solution For Rear Springs?

Post by ARCHINSTL »

I found this on the JC Whitney site - a new product?
Anyone have any experience with it or opinions?*

The info on the page states:
Boost sagging springs & restore vehicles to level
Lower rear end for that low-slung look
Raise front end to improve rear wheel traction
Stabilize spring action for a smoother, more comfortable ride. One set of 2 required for each coil spring.
10.00 / set

Here is the link to the site and product reviews (4):

I'm here for you.....

I've used those to both boost and clamp springs. Doughnuts are much easier to boost with.

These work real well to lower springs...you can lose one coils worth and they also boost a little due to partially filling the gap between coils above and below the clamps. Easiest is to remove the spring if possible. Need to be sure they don't rub on anything.

Use 4 sets of these on 4 coils on a car and you've got some serious handling as a result.

I have them on all 4 points. Boosting. Trying to get stock ride height and stiffness back, at least until new springs arrive. They work pretty well, just MAKE SURE that they are not going to interfere with anything while traveling up and down, and make sure they are on SNUG other wise they like to dace around the coil and it makes things really freaky.

I had to use vinyl tape and small hose clamps on both sides of each one to keep them in place...boosting. If you clamp with them...they stay put.
