Urban off-roading stories

Post by skullone »

Anyone have any good stories of Urban Off-roading? (Off-roading in the city, construction sites, etc)

I'll start. My friend and I were in my tercel coming back from lunch at a nice place on the river.
We popped into a construction site, drove around a few mins, saw an eagle perched on some river tree thing, and take off again.
On our way out, some ladies arrived on a golf cart yelling at us to stop, they were writing my license plate down, so I decided to get out of there.
On our way out, we passed a cop with his sirens on going to the place we just pulled out of. They must have called the cops on us, thinking we were stealing from the construction site or something. We got out of there pretty quickly, needless to say.
Pretty exciting day of urban off-roading there :)

They like to steal copper and so forth from these sites. I've "raided" old railroad right of ways in my younger days...which were only a few years back. People keep an eye on things...there are more undercover cops and cop-wantabes out there than you'd want to believe.
Give a boy a gun-give a biatch a cell phone-and pretty soon you almost got yourself a police state.
