blue Rear package tray for a 85 sr5 terc

Post by 2manytoys4menow »

Hey guy's , I have a dark blue rear package tray for a tercel wagon that I want to sell . This is the original tray out of my 85 sr5 4wd terc . It's in great shape and still has the 2 strings that connect to the rear hatch . The material is in great shape and not faded and it's structurely very sound with no cracks . I built a soild tray out of some bling diamond plate aluminum 8) so I couls put stuff ( heavy ) on top of it . I never would do that with the stock one . Whats a fair price for this back tray ? My uncle Alan has an original one that's still in the toyota box for his 85 sr5 and he said they pay over $200 for theirs  . They never used it because of their big dogs . I thought at the most $50 :?: . I either gonna craigslist it or evilbay it unless someone on here want's it . They seem to be getting pretty rare these days . I've never seen one at the bone yard . Thanks , Bruce .

I personally wouldn't put ANYTHING on top of it. You're going to end up with a natural beheading missile should you have to do a panic stop or get in an accident......

I'd love to have one, but the rest of my car isn't worth spending the money on. Sorry I can't help.

Can you post some pics of your new aluminum tray? That sounds cool!

And $200 for a tray, that is crazy! That is like 1/5 the purchase price of my tercel!

Well he flaked out and never called or emailed  . So it's still for sale . I dropped the price to $30 . It should find a good home soon :) .

Shipping would cost you a small fortune . You could make one for way less than the shipping cost . I only ship in the US and sometimes Canada . good luck !
