re clutch
it turns on but wont shift at all i hear a whineing or squilling noise every one and awhile. and while sitting in nutral the rpms go up with out me pushing on the gas pedal. dont know if thats normal but it does. also i went to drain the trans fluid and i got one of the bolts out but there are 2 1 inch bolts that are striped is there a way to get them out
Actually they should be 24mm drain plugs. Not sure how you would strip those out or how you would go about finding something to take their place without leaking. all the sections of the transaxle are connecter and youcan fill from the one transmission hole. Though I would check the level at the front differential fill hole too
If it is cold it will high idle itself until it warms up. Do you smell any clutch??? it you take the bolts out of the rear of the bell housing you can look right into it and see what the clutch is doing.
Sounds like it has some major problem. just pull it out and get it over with. but you need to take the clutch transfer shaft out first before you can drop the tranny
