Before you tell me, I did search both google and the forum, without much success.
Without further adieu,
What would be involved in installing a Sr5 cluster in a DLX? Is everything (tachometer, digital clock etc.) a simple plug in job or are additional parts needed?
Jenny's speedo drive cable is snapped, and if I have to dig into the dash, I figure I might as well upgrade.
Does anyone have a metric Sr5 dash with around 180000 kms on it sitting around? Wanna sell it?
Sr5 cluster feasibility?

Re: Sr5 cluster feasibility?
DLX to SR5 cluster swap is strictly plug 'n play- only mod is to move the speedo cable to the other side of the pedal ass'y. I've swapped odo drums between speedos- no real big deal.
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!

I'm not trying to be dense, but what do the tach and clock plug into?rer233 wrote: Sun Feb 11, 2018 9:04 pm DLX to SR5 cluster swap is strictly plug 'n play- only mod is to move the speedo cable to the other side of the pedal ass'y. I've swapped odo drums between speedos- no real big deal.
Is the speedo cable length the same between the DLX and Sr5?
Re: Sr5 cluster feasibility?
Speedo cables are the same, clock and tach wiring is already in the DX harness- only part you'll need for the conversion is the SR5 cluster.
