i have two choices for for my manifold gasket, one is a like a metal type and the other if like a fiber type, I am leaning toward the metal type any thoughts on which is better?

I prefer the metal, my tercel had a fiber one on it when I first got, pretty much fell to peices when I replaced it

I would also prefer the metal faced. Much sturdier with the port reinforcements. But, if I were dealing with less than ideal surfaces, the fiber faced may fill pitting or other imperfections better. The felpro does have metal, just on the inside.

think I will go with metal, my surfaces are perfect, the fel-pro just feels like its ready to fall apart in your hands
