Clean '86 4WD DlX AT eBay CA

Post by ARCHINSTL »

Very clean - AC (but NO mention if it works) - 150K - no luggage cover. Located in Arroyo Grande CA (near San Luis Obispo).
Pretty unrealistic BIN for an AT - $3650...

The seller has a real diss on the AT v. MT trannies - I sent him a note disputing this, but I would doubt my question will appear on his ad. Seller looks like just a flipper/stripper. The car IS remarkably clean, however.

yes, sure the manual trans had "bearing issues" if it was run without lubricant. As if the AT would do any better. Both type trans are very reliable if properly maintained and not abused, I suspect the manual trans comes out a bit better if you consider replacing the clutch normal maintenance.

not likely to get anything near his price, unless he gets lucky and someone buys it who does not know any better.
