I sent this to my nephew, who lives in Atlanta, and has an almost-16 year-old son.
I added this to the note: "Note the seller's mention of 'We bought the car for our son, and he was too spooked to drive the car in city traffic because of the manual transmission.'"

The nephew, having owned a succession of BMWs and several Porsches*, has never owned an AT and has taught his boy on one of them. I taught my nephew well.
