Hi everyone.
I'm looking at changing the suspension on my 1986 4WD wagon. How can I know if the springs also need to be changed? Is it simply easier and worth it to get a complete assembly?
Also, browsing on rockauto I had a hard time finding such a thing as a complete assembly for front end. Are they available through rockauto?
Shock, strut and spring. Worth getting an assembly?

There are no complete assemblies for the front anymore. You have to buy the pieces.

if there is a reason to think yours are sagging I would not replace them. the spring rate does not change, but the length changes if they sag, giving you less travel and easier to bottom out. I think in the FSM there is a ride height measurment, also somewhere on this forum.
