Bought a left front fender from a member a couple years ago- shipping from Boulder CO to Baltimore MD was $39 via greyhound bus. Bit of a PITA picking it up at the bus station, but well worth the savings.

try Greyhound freight. they only go by weight, they are the best bet for large light boxes. You have to take it to your local greyhound station, and the recipient has to go to the nearest Greyhound depot near them to pick it up, but most towns, even smaller towns, have them. It is usually fairly fast too, like one day most of west coast, 2-3 days east coast, and best price.
