holy doodle. the good news is that there are some real deals in that list, the bad news is that it is an ominous sign about how difficult many common parts are soon going to be.

odd they have both input and output shaft seal for the A55F trans, but say it is 3-speed (I thought the A55F was the 5 speed 4x4 trans).
Based on the picture they have flat top 3ac pistons (listed as 1ac) for only $11 each. If those are flat top (high compression) pistons, than that is a great deal.

The A55F is the 3 spd automatic 4x4 trans. The manual 4x4 transmissions are the Z52F & Z54F...
You're right, those are the flat-top pistons that were supposedly discontinued in 2004. Too bad they're only standard size... I had been looking for the 1 mm oversized ones.

would not the output shaft seal be the same? the drivshaft is very similar, just a different length.
