Cargo cover for 1983 SR5

Post by xibyxvii »

I'm looking for a cargo cover for my 1983 Tercel SR5. I'm willing to trade parts from my most recent purchase: a 1986 Tercel SR5, which I'll be parting out very soon.

It doesn't have alloy wheels on it. I'm in Oakland California.

Not a problem. I'm going to be pulling the radiator out as well as the heater blower motor in the next couple days.

The transmission is working. The entire car is in working condition. The problem is it needs a new exhaust system and the original carb to pass smog here in California, so I'm using the 86 as the parts car for my 83. I believe it has a Weber carb on it as well.
I'm looking for a beige, gray or even dark blue cargo cover.

If you are going to tear apart that car i will buy the tranny (i know someone who needs it)or if you leave the car as a roller i might take it all when your done picking it apart.
I might have a blue cover for you to

PM me if you're gonna part with the Weber carb, I may be interested in that

I live up near Eureka and occasionally travel down to the Bay Area... I'll be down in the East Bay in late June, maybe sooner

good luck with your project, keep us posted on how it's going

if the car is in decent condition, and the only reason you are parting it out is because it does not have the original carb, that is a really dumb reason to part out a good car. A good runner, mechanically sound but not necessarily perfect body can sell for $2500 in the Seattle area. There are no smog tests or inspections in Washington state because cars over 25 years old are exempt.

Is the car worth fixing up to sell? If it is rusty, or wrecked, than fine part it out, but it would be a shame to trash a T4wd just because of the carb.
