Excellent!! I'll try to make it out there next Saturday then. How does the titling work in New Mexico? My current one had a SD title which didn't require a notarized signature which was strange but instead it required a few other things.

Also could you check the tires to make sure they're good to be towed on

It's a long 350 mile drive back

So flat towing or dolly towing?

And you're coming out 100% for sure?

Yes as long as my weekend stays open with no surprises

And it will be a dolly, that's what I used with the last one

OK, if it is a dolly, we may have to disconnect the drive axle to the rear diff. Not done it before but shouldn't be hard.

I will check the two tires that hold air to see how they look.

You could bring two of your good tires.... and your spare

The car has a spare I bought from somewhere else but I have forgotten if it was any good.

Would that affect it if it's not in 4wd? Or is the driveshaft always engaged

Dan has towed many 4WD Tercels on a dolly in neutral and FWD mode, and it works fine, the problem here is with the seized up transmission, it may not want to do that...especially if it seized in 4WD mode! Won't know until we try!

Or for all we know, it'll spin the transfer case but if it's out of fluid or there's metal pieces in there, it could seize partway home.

So yeah.

Okay, so I'm gonna pull off the two 29" all terrains from mine and I'll swap those onto the rear axle. If you could get the rear driveshaft off for me if you have spare time this week that would be great.

Trying to cover all the bases so this goes smoothly. lol
And if the title needs to be notarized could you get that done too

29 inch?

Never heard of titles needing notarized here.

Apparently if it isn't stuck in 4wd we don't need to disconnect the drive shaft.

Yeah the previous owner put on some nice juicy off road tires on mine

And awesome! Thanks

AZ does notarized signatures so I wouldn't know about other states. Just making sure :D

29 inch tires will fit on a tercel? I can't see it...

We can do a bill of sale and all that Jazz too.
