Need Trans Help Near Tacoma
Looking for a new trans or repair on a budget for my 1984 SR5 Tercel. Will sell all together for $600 car is stuck in neutral.

this may be worth trying
you would have to do some mechanical work
there is a 17mm plug on top right of tranny that can be removed so a screwdriver can be inserted and push gear forward
this only works when tranny is stuck in nuetral
the rear tranny mount has to be disconnected so tranny end can drop down far enough to get at this plug
its usually pretty tight so use good 6pt socket on long extension
did car have any symptoms before ending up like this
usually this only happens when tranny only has been removed and installed (shift shaft gets bumped inward causeing lockup)

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.
