Re: potentially best in australia?
Very nice indeed. I thought I was the only one (and Mattel) in Oz that are crazy about the T4.
It's a bit odd that the upper part of the door frames are not painted same colour as the car. I thought all early T4 in Australia had fully painted doors like mine. However, unfortunately, despite its very good condition, I doubt he'll get $2,800 for it here. He would be better off shipping it to the US and get a better price, but the steering is on the wrong side. Yes, hopefully another Tercel enthusiast will buy it.

Re: potentially best in australia?
yes the thought of even selling it is soul crushing, i literally just keep it in my garage and stare at it.
But rego came again the other day and historic registration in qld is pretty limiting as to what you can do with it. I may
yet keep it if I can see myself crying to sleep when it goes.
It is a ridiculous car to lament over but as I am sure we are all aware the tercel is what every car should be.

It's a Beauty. I know how you feel. The extra clean cars are getting too rare to use as a daily. Good job preserving this one and keeping the dream alive!
Fuel Type is listed as "Petrol-Leaded" Did they run leaded fuel in AU models in 1983? In the US everything switched over to unleaded in 1973.

Re: potentially best in australia?
We had leaded up till about 1985 I think.
Jony - DL wagons have the body painted door frames. SR5s have the black coloured frames.
